Aadhisidhan Sri Sri Vijaai Swamiji

Adhisiddhan Sri Sri Vijay Swamiji, lovingly called Kaliyuga Bhairava by devotees, has carried an unwavering devotion to Lord Bhairava since childhood. He would spend most of his time with dogs—the sacred companions of Bhairava—and to this day, he continues to nurture many of them with love in his home. As a child, whenever he visited Shiva temples, he would lose himself in meditation, seated before the sanctum of Bhairava. While other children of his age were drawn to games and amusements, he immersed himself in spiritual thoughts, leaving his parents and relatives astonished at his unusual depth. On one side was his unshakable devotion to Bhairava, and on the other, his own spiritual research—an unprecedented method of reading a person’s past and present through the lines of the big toe. By studying the toe prints of thousands of people, he decoded their mysteries, revealed their truths, and left listeners spellbound. By Bhairava’s grace, his words never failed. When he foretold the future and gave remedies, people saw in him not just a seer but a true spiritual master.In the midst of this, as he remained absorbed in Bhairava’s thoughts, one night the Lord appeared in his dream, commanding him to establish a temple solely for Bhairava. Questions arose—how could one man build such a temple? Where should it be built? Days later, while passing through what is now the temple site at RattaiSutrippalayam, the tire of his vehicle burst. That land was then nothing but a thorny wilderness. As he stepped onto it, his body shivered almost unknowingly, filled with a strange energy. That very night, Bhairava appeared again in his dream and revealed: “This is my abode.”
