Importance of Saptha Arathi

Saptha Arathi is one of the most ancient forms of worship practiced in Kasi. Worshipping the Divine, who manifests as Light (Jyoti), by offering light itself is part of our sacred tradition.

At our Thennaka Kasi Bhairavar Temple, Saptha Arathi is performed every Valarpirai Ashtami at 6:00 PM, conducted by the sacred hands of Adhisidhan. It is believed that by participating in this darshan, darkness is dispelled and prosperity flourishes.
